Workshops and Inservices
- While we do offer the traditional training services for groups with on-site or at our state-of-the-art training facility, we encourage more long-term planning since it takes a significant amount of time to see a substantial change in daily practices.
- Initially, users need to acquire core competencies and skills in operating technologies in order for organizations to achieve maximum results and return on their investment.
- These sessions are scheduled with no plans for continuation or follow-up. They are designed for end-user groups of no more than 15 per trainer, and includes print materials.
Professional Learning Communities
- Once participants have mastered how to use the tools, then on-going, job-embedded follow-up sessions allow them time to practice and learn more about integrating them into daily practice to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Web-based facilitation and assistance are also provided through an online learning management system with online discussions, community interaction and on-demand video modules in between face-to-face sessions, fostering a community of professional learning and practice among participants.
- PLCs also include access to additional materials, pre/post-assessments, and a summary report.
Technology Integration Coaches
- Some participants may even require more tailored assistance; therefore we can also provide individualized coaching services.
- A highly trained technology specialist will be assigned to an individual or very small groups (no more than 5 participants per coach per site) to provide observation and feedback, assistance with planning, modeling, and skills coaching. A minimum of 20 hours is recommended per participant annually.
- This service includes access to additional materials, instructional support, pre/post-assessments, and a summary report.
Institutes and Academies
- We even offer long-term, focused, intensive technology institutes and academies with leading experts in current topics that address a specific problem or issue.
- In general, institutes are several consecutive days while academies are spread out over the long-term.
- They are typically designed for specialized groups, specialists, leaders, administrators, or for train-the-trainers purposes.
- Instructional Materials
- This service provides users with access to print, audio and video files either on a per item cost basis or through an annual subscription service.
- Documents, templates, technology-enriched lesson plans, customized user’s guides and tutorials can be developed either for the end user or for site-based trainers.
Instructional Support
Answers to instructional technology questions through email and phone assistance, awareness of new tools and resources and how to use them via webinars, videoconferences and online courses, and even live “virtual" assistance can be provided to end users either on an as needed basis or through a subscription service.
